I think the top three characteristics for a successful SPA Alumnus are: focus, a positive attitude, and determination. Focus is important because there will be distractions, some big and some small, but they can intefere with school studies in the same way. Having a positive attitude is good because we take on the role as learners, not teachers. Teachers are helping us become successful and with a bad attitude it's hard to achieve what we need. And last but not least, determination. The student should want to work hard for their goals, dreams, or aspirations to come true.

The three top characteristics I chose are natural and come from the personal drive within the individual. It's nothing like: "I have to go out... and get something to make me a successful Alumnus", It's to diverse the person finds it. But only to those who really want it. It's almost like their mentality; it's their natural conscious. If they see it or not, it's naturally a part of them. Through the actions they play out the characteristics by choice. But not everyone is successful because it is up to them what they will with themselves.

I have my own personal goals as well. Occasionally I come along an event that seems to turn the tables for me, but my determination to achieve more then the cause I go through is what makes me move forward. My determination helps me for when my focus isn't clear or my attitude isn't helping, it allows me to exist & move from my present & achieve my goals for the future.
